Overview
Financial and ledger reports provide detailed tracking of financial transactions, fees, and settlement activities within a Qolo program. These reports assist clients in reconciling financial movements, monitoring ledger activity, and identifying transactions that require further review, such as forced posts and interchange settlements.
The following reports fall under this category:
- Fee Summary Report – Summarizes fees collected from accountholders and cardholders.
- Ledger Activity Detail – Provides a detailed listing of all settled transactions on an account.
- Ledger Summary Report – Summarizes financial transactions that have been posted or settled.
- Forced Post Report – Lists transactions that were settled without prior authorization.
- Interchange Summary – Provides an overview of interchange fees and network-related charges.
Fee Summary Report
Report Overview
The Fee Summary Report provides a breakdown of fees collected from accountholders and cardholders within a program. It includes details on different types of fees that are configured within the Qolo platform, such as card issuance fees, ATM withdrawal fees, and other transaction-related charges.
This report does not include fees that are charged directly by the client outside of the Qolo platform or any third-party fees applied by networks or financial partners.
Report Data Elements
- Date – The date for which the summary is generated.
- Client Name – The client associated with the program.
- Program GUID – A unique identifier for the program.
- Program Name – The name of the program under which the fees were charged.
- Request Code – A unique identifier for the type of fee charged.
- Request Description – A description of the request code.
- Account Type – Specifies whether the fee was charged to a program-level or cardholder-level account.
- Account Currency – The designated currency of the account.
- Total Post Amount – The total amount of fees settled on the report date.
- Settled – Indicates whether the fee transaction has been settled.
Ledger Activity Detail
Report Overview
The Ledger Activity Detail report provides a detailed listing of all settled transactions on an account. It tracks transactions based on the date they were posted and provides insights into financial movements, including amounts, merchant details, and references to related transactions.
This report includes both debit and credit transactions that have been fully processed. For a summary view, refer to the Ledger Summary Report.
Report Data Elements
- Client Name – The client associated with the transaction.
- Program GUID – A unique identifier for the program.
- Program Name – The name of the program under which the transaction occurred.
- Post Date/Time – The date and time when the transaction was posted.
- Account GUID – A unique identifier for the account.
- Masked PAN – The last four digits of the card number used.
- Person Name – The name of the cardholder or accountholder.
- Request Code – The transaction type identifier.
- Transaction Amount – The amount of the transaction.
- Merchant Name – The name of the merchant where the transaction occurred.
- Settled – Indicates whether the transaction has been settled.
- Transaction GUID – A unique identifier assigned to the transaction.
- Account Balance – The ledger balance after the transaction.
- Available Balance – The available balance after considering pending transactions.
Ledger Summary Report
Report Overview
The Ledger Summary Report provides a summary of settled financial transactions over a specified report period. It categorizes transactions based on their type and total transaction amounts.
Report Data Elements
- Date – The date for which the summary is generated.
- Client Name – The client associated with the transactions.
- Program GUID – A unique identifier for the program.
- Program Name – The name of the program under which the transactions occurred.
- Request Code – The transaction type identifier.
- Request Description – A description of the request code.
- Account Type – Specifies whether the transaction was processed at the program level or cardholder level.
- Account Currency – The designated currency of the account.
- Total Post Amount – The total amount settled on the given date for each transaction type.
- Total Transaction Count – The total number of transactions for each request code.
- Masked Program Parent Account – The last four digits of the program’s parent account, when applicable.
Forced Post Report
Report Overview
The Forced Post Report lists transactions that were settled without prior authorization during the report period. This report is useful for identifying transactions where authorization was bypassed or missing, requiring further review for fraud prevention or operational issues.
Report Data Elements
- Client Name – The client associated with the program.
- Program GUID – A unique identifier for the program.
- Program Name – The name of the program under which the transaction occurred.
- Post Date/Time – The date and time when the transaction was settled.
- Account GUID – A unique identifier for the affected account.
- Masked Card Number – The last four digits of the card number used in the transaction.
- Person Name – The name of the cardholder.
- Transaction Amount – The value of the transaction.
- Merchant Name – The name of the merchant where the transaction took place.
- Reason Code – A unique identifier for the reason the forced post occurred.
- Transaction GUID – A unique identifier assigned to the forced transaction.
Interchange Summary
Report Overview
The Interchange Summary Report provides a summary of interchange transactions and related fees within a program. It captures details of fees applied by payment networks, cross-border transactions, and interchange settlement amounts.
Report Data Elements
- Date – The date for which the summary is generated.
- Client Name – The client associated with the program.
- Program GUID – A unique identifier for the program.
- Program Name – The name of the program under which the transactions occurred.
- BIN – The bank identification number associated with the card transactions.
- Channel ID – The channel used for the transaction, indicating the processing switch.
- Transaction Network ID – The payment network responsible for processing the transaction.
- Cross-Border Indicator – Specifies whether the transaction was domestic or international.
- Number of Transactions – The count of transactions processed under each BIN and network.
- Transaction Amount – The total amount of transactions under the specified conditions.
- Transaction Currency – The currency of the transactions.
- Interchange Amount – The total interchange fees applied to the transactions.
- Transaction Fee – The total transaction processing fees charged by the network.
- Net Interchange – The sum of the interchange amount and transaction fees.
